More and more electric vehicles are on the road in the region, which is great to see.
Electrify2800 members own electric and hybrid vehicles and are happy to talk you through the benefits as a realistic owner. Others in a group are looking forward to their next vehicle being an electric one.
It’s also a pleasure to see more EVs on the Orange market. There was a great range of vehicles on show at the recent Sustainable Living Expo. They are getting more accessible as well. The MG ZS EV Excite starts at $39,990.
There are a wide range of public EV charging points in our region to match the growing popularity in the Orange region.

Having a new EV fast charging station operating in Molong is another exciting development in the region. It came from a NSW Government grant, with the village application assessed on projected electric vehicle adoption in the area, traffic movements, tourism data, vehicle ownership, local points of interest, location of major cabling across NSW and available substation capacities.
